California Water Action Plan
Summary: California’s water resource challenges are broad and solutions are complex, expensive, with inadequate tools. This action plan lays out, a comprehensive and inclusive plan of, California’s challenges, goals, and decisive actions for a safer, and more sustainable path. The Brown Administration efforts are to pave a path to sustainable water management through reliable water supplies, restore crucial wildlife habitat, and help the state’s water system and environment become resilient. Efforts from all levels of government and non-governmental organizations are collaborating to successfully implement this action plan. This updated action plan contains revisions to keep the plan current and provides a thorough 10-point action plan that is most pressing to California’s water challenges.
